They didn't specifically mention making a 'back room'.

So, here we are in 2002 with an article delivered to the public, and left in public places, which is clearly planned and articulated for the subjection of people unknown.
As an organisation, jws are fortunate in being thought of as a kind of "silly" type of christian sort of people - if those same people had seriously read their literature, there would be a very strong backlash against the group as a whole.
By these type of publications it could be concluded that they cannot grow to a large size, as there are only a certain number of people that will put up with that sort of s**t.

Are you loyal??? (WT quotes to feel guilty by)
by jimbob ini was doing some research on the wt cd, trying to find an experience i remember really frightened me into never leaving the org..(that's what it takes now to keep people from leaving...fright!
) and i stumbled upon these quotes from the 3/15/96 watchtower...... 10 loyalty to jehovahs visible organization also means having nothing to do with apostates.
loyal christians will not be curious about what such people have to say.

Bash the Catholics here.
by JG inreading one of the other threads got me thinking.
what is the root of anti-catholic sentiment.
i was raised a catholic, still catholic, and have never heard a good reason why some people dislike catholicism.

I'm not sure if anyone's still reading this thread but anyway;
Rome believes that grace is infuesed or "injected" in to ones life t
Well, yep, and? I didn't read anything about grace coming from men in your example of "Romanism".
But something I did see was a bird the other day, and it flew grace-fully. I even saw a human who's life was grace-full, you know, didn't bump around hurting others - a gift from God.
But I'm not sure what you're getting at jr.

Have you read my experience in the Awake?Read this
by ELON14 inmany of you already know my real name.i'm the one whose experience was published in the sep 8 1994 awake mag.
i would like to stress that although i have good reason to be angry and bitter, nothing i say here is said in anger but only in sadness.
i write this to say that if i could take back many of my words i said in that experience , i would.

Theocratic War Strategy & "Phenomenal ...
by Scully ini called my mother yesterday and for some reason, the conversation drifted into dub-talk.
she was upset that some of my siblings were still at home, not concerned about looking for jobs or pursuing some kind of job training (the acceptable term for "going back to school", apparently).
none of these siblings are baptized, so pioneering is not even an issue.. anyway, i suggested that maybe they were discouraged because people around them (dubs, in particular) were harping on the idea that armageddon was "just around the corner" and that it seemed like a waste of time to pursue those activities.

Not to make fun your mother, but in all honestly, where I work, if you said, " The vulture population is increasing", they'd probably be looking at involuntary treatment orders.

XI. .....to the exclusion of the grace and the charity which is poured forth in their hearts by the Holy Ghost...
XII. .....that justifying faith is nothing else but confidence in the divine mercy (i.e. no more than pardon for your sins)
Read carefully.
As for not calling someone "father" - it applies to ' a man on earth' , not the Spirit.
And praying is not worshipping - please investigate this, I pray you.
To catholics, the bread and wine Are the body and blood - if you do not believe that then they have a responsibility to you "when anyone eats the bread and drinks from the cup in a way that is not right, he has done wrong to the body and blood of the Lord" [W.E.]

1. INFALLIBILITY - not all of the time. If the pope is put in a position of making a formal decision in regard to an issue of morality, it is believed that the Holy Spirit will guide.
2. Worship of Mary. Biblical basis? Its not Mary worship (hopefully). People pray to her, i.e. ask her to ask for them.
You know the house your self - that the elder son wouldnt enter
entering the house they found the child with Mary His mother
3. The bread and wine ACTUALLY BECOMES . Yes, funny that - hard to explain to someone who sees themselves as a human body.
4. The Inquisition 5. The Crusades Carries embarrassment even after a thousand years. Obviously they didnt wait on Yahweh
6. The fact that, as a baptized Christian, I am not welcome to accept communion. Well, if you openly maintain that youre not a catholic, well?
7. What do you mean I can't use birth control? Thats the belief difficult to accept, but sometimes its hard to accept that two wrongs dont make a right.
8. What do you mean I can't divorce my abusive husband? You can leave an abusive husband. As for divorce, that is a final giving up on someone in this life.
9. Pedophile priests. I think in the main, they should definitely not have been priests.
10. Purgatory. Considered that it must be, due to necessity.
11. Mass cards. Never had them. Catholicism has been global well before modern communication abilities, who knows what has gone on in some places. If someone said, I hate catholics, with a death look, I imagine that there would be a reason.

- "How shall I get liberation?"
"Find out who has bound you,"
said the Master.
The disciple returned after a week and said,- "No one has bound me."
"Then why ask to be liberated?"
That was a moment of Enlightenment for the disciple,
who suddenly became free." it was like going to great pains
to break into a house by climbing a ladder
and smashing a window and then realizing later
that the door of the house was open" [de Mello]paduan
